Following a change in ownership, we have been welcoming our valued guests under the name Villa Amphora since 2024.
Our apartment house is located in the heart of the city, just 300 meters from the world-famous thermal lake. A quiet and peaceful environment combined with a homely atmosphere is guaranteed. We offer a total of 10 apartments, all overlooking the garden.

Each of our apartments is fully equipped with a kitchenette, a living-dining area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Most also feature a terrace. The two-bedroom suites comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.
The apartments are wheelchair accessible and can be reached by elevator.
For guests arriving by car, parking is available in the underground garage for an additional fee (maximum vehicle height: 210 cm).
Meal options are also available with your stay and are served at a cozy restaurant just 100 meters away. Due to our associated healthcare services, Villa Amphora is an adults-only property and unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.
Starting in 2025, we also offer medical and wellness services.

The name Villa Amphora was inspired by a remarkable natural discovery:
The Hévíz Source Cave, excavated under the leadership of István Plózer in 1975, is the only strictly protected cave in the Zala Hills region. Its most impressive feature is the spherical Amphora Chamber, where both a cold-water spring (17.7 °C or, according to some sources, 26.3 °C) and a hot-water spring (41.5 °C) emerge. The mixing of these waters results in 38 °C thermal water, which flows out through a narrow cave entrance, creating a unique and healing natural phenomenon.
